This is one buttery soft skein of a lace weight blend of hand dyed 74/26 Baby Suri Alpaca/Silk in the colorway "Velvet Pink".
 
It is a perfect yarn for those out there who don't want to use mohair. It combines beautifully with Honeysuckle or Sundancer in shawls like the Birds of a Feather by Andrea Mowry.
